2015 Workshops
Saturday, Oct. 31:
Panel Discussion entitled “Stream of Life and Justice: A Look at How our Watersheds are Connected and In Danger” with: Shannon Neufledt of KAIROS:  What a watershed is &  how water connects us with ecosystems, justice struggles  downstream and around the world and Aliss Terpstra, Council of Canadians: Water Fluoridation: 70 years of ecological injustice to the Great Lakes Watershed.  The moderator will be Rev. Shalini Sankarlal, minister to St. Andrew's, Pickering.  Children free; Adults $10.00 donation at the door appreciated. Light refreshments will be served. 
Sunday, Nov. 22:
A KAIROS Watershed Workshop for 30 people (limited seating). $10.00 donation for KAIROS. (bring a bag lunch & drinks were be provided.

Climate Justice
was held on Saturday, Nov. 2nd, 2013.
Community Breakfast 9:30am and Panel Discussion followed.

Idle No More

I Shall Not Hate
Previously on Jan 12th, 2013 the church hosted a community breakfast featuring Dr. Izzeldin Abuelaish, the author of "I Shall Not Hate". Interest and attendance were overwhelming. Dr. Abuelaish's talk was both inspiring and challenging. He kindly permitted us to record his talk, and it is available by clicking here. The file is rather large, so will take a bit of time to download to your computer.
